Since joining SEI in 2008, Heidi has worked on a broad set of sustainable development issues involving governance, decision-making processes, and sustainability assessments. Heidi has worked urban sustainability issues specifically related to the climate and disaster risk and the interaction between the private sector, society, and the environment. Heidi is a member of the SEI -hosted IRDR International Centre of Excellence on Transforming Development and Disaster Risk. Heidi holds a Master´s degree in Urban Environmental Management (MSc) from Wageningen University (NL).
Areas of focus include ecosystem approach, nature based solutions, infrastructure, green bonds, disaster risk, corporate sustainability, supply chain governance and environmental management.
