The Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week takes place three weeks before the Global Climate Action Summit.
The three-day conference will focus on the implementation of countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement on climate change and global progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At the conference, participants will discuss economic instruments and climate-aligned finance to drive investment in climate action.
Keynote speakers include: UN Climate Change Executive Secretary, Patricia Espinosa, Minister Inia Seruiratu from Fiji and Mr. Tomasz Chruszczow, Special Envoy for Climate Change from Poland.
